What type of sand is safe for children’s play areas?

We use washed river sand or certified play sand that meets Australian Standards (AS4422). It’s free of clay, silt, and contaminants.

How do you keep sand playgrounds draining properly?

We install a geotextile fabric base layer with a gravel drainage bed underneath. This prevents waterlogging and keeps the sand clean and dry after rain.

Can you add timber borders and seating?

Yes. We build custom timber surrounds from treated pine or hardwood sleepers, and can integrate bench seating, shade sails mounts, and sandpit covers.
